22-01-2007phillips sucksMine turns itself off all by itself. :x It has now decided to really tick me off today. I turn it on, w/in seconds it turns itself off and the power button will blink two times then stop for sec and do it again :x . I am starting to hate this thing.

23-01-2007more likely to be a short circuit line output transistor caused by dry joints in the line output stage, this will cause the power supply to trip due to overload, replace the line output transistor and resolder all hv caps in line stage.

23-01-2007It could be an optical illusion. Play a dvd where you can see the spot and pause it. Cover the screen completely with you under it and see if it's not out side light refracting thru the screens. If it's still there I'd say dust in your light engine.
