18-07-2008 | | Yes it has a ribbon cable (flat cable). I check this cable, by visual, and it is ok. There is no visible damage. But i didnt test it with multimeter. I will do that tomorow.
About wires. Do you mean power suply wires? They are connected properly. |

19-07-2008 | Samsung HC-R5245W HV fail | I found C4075 burned and image distortioned. What is the value for this capacitor? Does anyone know about it? I think it is 2KV but the value is missing.

C707 and e994 fuses are a good place to start. Convergence IC's are also a common failure. Tritronicsinc.com is a great place to look up parts.
I'd go after the convergence IC's |
19-07-2008 | rca 46 inch again.... | so in my previous post i had a high voltage arc from the center crt to the chassis.....upon further inspection i noticed the hv voltage lead to red crt was pulled from the hv splitter...replaced it firmly back into the block and now the arc on the green |
