27-09-2007LG plasma z sus boardHi, There are hybrid IC on the LG plasma z and y sus boards,and I mean on the 2001- 2003 models (with black aluminium cooler). Did someone found out where to buy only the hybrid IC???? Thks.
27-09-2007Thomson RP52LK does not turn on...Hi people, my TV Thomson RP52LK does not turn on but the standby light always come on. It absolutely doesnt react. Can somebody help me? My experiences with these repairs are minimal. Thanks

27-09-2007right next to ics are about 6 sets of resistors in parrallel,3.9 ohm,should read orange,white color bands.check all sets,should measure about 2.1 ohms.and on some models you will see two pico fuses right under ics.green in color,check if they are open.3.1

27-09-2007Sure, the IC craps out and take resistor/resistors with it. These IC's control red vertical/horizontal, blue vertical/horizontal, and green vertical/horizontal. 3 verticals, 3 horizontals equals 6 resistors. The resistor is meant to fry to protect the vcc

28-09-2007Vertical problem. Check IC 501 la7847, check d461 use 1n4148/nte519, and check r483 10/1watt.
28-09-2007Replace IK04 and IK05 with STK392-180's, check RK46 1.8 1 watt, RK42 2.7 1 watt, RK62 2.2 1 watt, RK58 3.9 1 watt, RK50 2.7 1 watt, RK54 1.5 1 watt.
28-09-2007The coolant is in the picture tubes. This should be as simple as replace the 2 STK392-110's and find the burnt resistors. This is a paper print so I can't pull it but if you read the resistors around the IC's, 1.8 ohm comes to mind.
28-09-2007If it's a clicking/pulsing noise suspect IK04 and IK05 the convergence IC's. STK392-150's. Don't forget to check the bias resistors.
