02-04-2011 | Disassembly | I've got the case off. Do I have to remove both the amp panel and the mechanical panels? Thanks. |
02-04-2011 | Knob set screws | Anybody know what the size Allen wrench I need to get the knobs off? |
02-04-2011 | Head block | I've removed amp and mechanical panel, and I've located the playback relay. It's on the head relay board that's attached to the head block. Anybody know how to remove the head block?

02-04-2011 | Head block is unattached now | I removed the head block and pulled the head relay board through the front opening. Now I have access to the relay. How does the plastic cover come off so that I can clean the contacts? Thanks, |
02-04-2011 | | Removing relay from the board - will then be obvious. |
03-04-2011 | Soldering? | Anyway to do this without removing the relay? There are 16-18 soldered connections holding it on.
How do I upload pictures? |
03-04-2011 | | Unless the relay is chemically sealed (Glued or ultrasonically melted) they usually have a hook that holds the top cover on opposite sides near base of relay (pix only show the hook on the left side).
